I DID NOT BUY FROM AMAZONTHEY ARE BOTH PACKED UP TO RETURN! I WASHED THEM PRYOR TO USING THEM. AND RAN WATER THROUGH BOTH OF THEM 2 TIMES AS INSTRUCTED.. ???THE STRONG SMELL OF PLASTIC WAS AWAY TO MUCH FOR MY ALERGIES NOT TO MENTION MY TEA TASTE LIKE THE SMELL ......THE OTHER ONE'S CLOCK DID NOT WORK, SO IT COULD NOT TURN ITS SELF OFF. THEY ARE HUGE BUT OUR NICE TO LOOK AT.I REPLACED BOTH WITH HAMILTON BEACH FROM AMAZON FOR SOME REASON THEY DO NOT NOT HAVE A PLASTIC SMELL. INFACT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I EVER BOUGHT A COFFEEMAKER WITH SUCH A STRONG SMELL.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND
