I like the swing out basket design, which is hard to find. You never get coffee grounds in the reservoir, and it is easy to clean. The steal-a-cup feature is a problem. When you swing the basket into the brew position, a little linkage opens a valve that allows coffee to flow into the pot. It doesn't work very well as manufactured. If the valve is not open, the basket overflows and makes a huge mess. You can fix this by taping a shim on top of the little valve arm on the bottom of the basket. I have purchased 2 of these brewers, several years apart, and they both had the same problem. Apparently there is no customer or product testing feed back, because this would be really easy for the manufacturer to fix.
