It is kind of flimsy, and leaks. I wanted to return it but just noticed the seller's (Abes of Maine) return policy sucks (only accepts unopened small appliances items!!). Beware!

Seems to work and not leak as other very expensive coffeemakers have. If it is still working as well in a year I will comment again.

The lid on this coffee maker is the worst design ever. It is difficult to open when not in use and almost impossible to open and close with warm coffee in it. Standard #4 filters do not fit and the water outlet under the lid has to be moved by hand unless you really force the lid down. They give you a little cap to put on after the coffee is brewed, but without a place to store it with the machine, it's just waiting to be lost. I'll buy a different brand.
