Don't buy this kettle, unless you like rusty water

I got this kettle for Christmas, 2012. It's now March, 2013, and I just today discovered that the screws on the underside of the lid of this kettle have rusted badly enough that the rust was contaminating the water. This was right after I had used the kettle to make hot chocolate for my young children. Disgusting!Hamilton Beach ought to recall this health hazard of a kettle.
