I was a little nervous when we bought this unit years ago because Spremy is not a known brand in the US and it is pricey. Other than my own mistakes, we have not had one lick of trouble after many many cases of tomatoes over several years. It is a little noisy, can be a little tricky to put together (until you get the hang of it) but does an amazing job pressing barely cooked tomatoes into the best sauce of your life. At the time they were almost unknown on the internet but I see these Spremy units shave become much more commonly available.The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is I cannot find parts for it. I have not needed any replacement parts yet but as long as the strainer is lasting I can see my needing parts at some point.Excellent powered strainer for tomatoes (and many other things I have found with available add ons).If mine died, I will go right back and get another one without hesitation (God Forbid !)

I like the press. Definitely worth it if you intend to make a lot of tomato sauce. I make it for the winter and it's much faster as opposed to the hand crank. My only problem was that the first one I received was put together so tightly that I could not take it apart. Called the vendor and the customer service representative was really nice and had a replacement out to me the same week as she knew I had the tomatos already. The only compliant I have is that even though the customer service rep did everything in her power, the warehouse did not send a return number to have the old one picked up for over three weeks. Thus, I had the old one in my house for quite a while wondering if I was going to get billed for two machines and then have to deal with the credit card company about that.
