Finally a coffee maker with a cone filter that makes the water hot enough to keep my husband happy. But he's not happy having the whole basket part fall off when he opens it to remove the grounds! Is there a solution for this problem?

The coffee pot that I received was not the one pictured. I called before I ordered and asked if it took cone shaped filters or regular filters. I was told it was regular filters. When it came it was a different pot and it took cone filters. I kept it because we need our coffee in the morning.
