I paid only $15.00 for mine and I love it! My husband and I really enjoy a really good cup of coffee. The ease of this machine and way it brews makes for one incredible cup. The only time I have ever had leakage is when I used a new brand of coffee and didn't pack the edges of the filter down all the way.No complaints, only a great taste and lot's of ease making it!

I bought this to send to a friend because I was astounded by the low price. A couple months back I sprung over a hundred bucks for a Simplehuman brewer so I had to try out this JV pod brewer as it could be had for the price of a Mr. Coffee. The great news is that it makes a really hot cup of coffee, hotter than my Simplehuman brewer, which is the only complaint I have about it. But, the differences in the flavor is where these two brewers part company - the JV failed to bring out the flavor characteristics of the Archer Farms French Roast pods that my brewer does. But, for the price of this brewer and the water temperature and convenience factors of the pod system, you can hardly go wrong. An absolute great brewer to introduce yourself to the world of pod coffee.

I only like good coffee, I can't just drink anything and maybe drink a cup four times a week. I bought this model because it was the cheapest and I don't drink coffee at home that often but thought it would be nice for an occasional cup. Cheap is an accurate description. The flimsy design broke after just one use...and was completely useless after two three uses. And it leaked around the pod holder flooding the counter...big mess. Although the successful coffee in the cup was rather tasty, I would recommend another model.
