Decent enough coffee maker, impossible to clean internals but nice removable basket. You can only use the included mug. I'm looking for another mug. It's not easy to find, I'm searching Ebay for secondhand mugs next.

I've had this coffee brewer for a while. If you pour in the amount of water that is equal to 50-60% of the mug, the coffee brewed won't overspill from its reserve. Otherwise you would leave a flowing (weaker) brew with the cap on the mug fully open pressing on the release valve, which I don't do. I prefer a longer brew, but I am limited at the size of the cup.Also, the strain appears to have vertical slits, and it seems at times i am better off pulsing my grinds as opposed to grinding it thoroughly b/c small bits do end up coming through.I'd recommend it if you are happy with having the hot water just sprinkle through to fill the entire mug, won't be as strong of a coffee. Otherwise, only fill the water with ~50% of the mug's height and leave it off.I'm not happy in particular with the strainer, but then again it can be from long use that these little bits are coming through.Enjoy,Morris
